Day 2
Transfer by car / minibus: Ulaanbaatar - Lake Khukh Nuur
Lake Khukh Nuur - Enthrone of Chinggis Khan
After an early breakfast, we will embark on a scenic drive to Khukh Nuur, located 215 kilometers from Ulan Bator. This long journey will offer you a wonderful introduction to the country's landscape and beauty. Upon reaching Khukh Nuur, we'll savour a delicious lunch and set up camp at the Khukh Nuur tourist camp, situated near the lake. Khukh Nuur is famous as the place where Temujin was bestowed with his legendary title, "Chinggis Khaan." Following lunch, we'll visit the lake and explore the Khar Zurkhen (Black Heart) Mountain. A historian will provide insights into Chinggis Khaan's life, which is intricately connected to this region. You'll enjoy a hearty dinner and spend the night in a ger camp. The day's drive will cover a distance of approximately 215 kilometers (135 miles). (B/L/D).

Binder Soum
Day 3
Binder Soum – Almsgiver’s Wall
In the morning, we will journey to Binder Soum, which is 220 kilometers from Lake Khukh Nuur. Here, we will explore the renowned Uglugchiin Kherem Wall, a truly remarkable structure. This 3-kilometer-long wall is constructed entirely of stones without the use of mortar, making it one of the world's lesser-known wonders. At its highest point, the wall stands at 3.1 meters tall, and approximately 60 tombs are scattered in its vicinity. Of special interest is the possibility that Oglochiin Kherem may be the burial place of significant historical Mongol figures, such as Chinggis Khaan or Khubilai Khaan. We'll enjoy a picnic lunch and spend the night in a ger camp. The day's drive will cover a distance of approximately 220 kilometers (138 miles). (B/L/D)

Dadal Soum
Day 4
Drive to Dadal Soum - Chinggis Khan’s Birthplace
Morning will see us embark on a drive to Dadal Soum, the birthplace of Chinggis Khaan, which is located 120 kilometers from Binder Soum. This journey will follow the picturesque banks of the Onon River, a waterway that stretches all the way from Russia to Mongolia. The drive offers spectacular and photogenic views along the way. Eventually, we'll reach our ger camp, situated near Chinggisiin Gurvan Lake. In the afternoon, we'll have the opportunity to visit a Buriad family and immerse ourselves in the unique culture of this ethnic group. The Buriads inhabit the easternmost section of the world's longest border, stretching from the Caspian Sea to the Sea of Japan. Dinner and an overnight stay will be provided in a ger camp. The day's drive will cover a distance of approximately 120 kilometers (75 miles). (B/L/D)

Birthplace of Chinggis Khaan Guided Tour
Today, we will delve into the history and heritage of Chinggis Khaan. We'll explore his birthplace, Deluun Boldog, and the shimmering Chinggisiin Gurvan Lake, providing a profound connection to the great leader's early years. A historian will accompany us, guiding us through the unique journey of Chinggis Khan's life. Following this enlightening experience, we will visit the Chinggis Khaan Monument, a symbol of his enduring legacy. In the afternoon, we will have the opportunity to enjoy horseback riding on the vast Mongolian steppes, immersing ourselves in the nomadic way of life. Dinner and an overnight stay will be provided in a ger camp, ensuring an authentic and memorable experience. (B/L/D)

Visit Undurkhaan
We will depart for the center of Khentii province, Undurkhaan, a journey covering approximately 260 kilometers (160 miles) from Dadal. Undurkhaan is a place that offers a wealth of cultural and historical experiences for visitors. It boasts a variety of attractions including museums, monuments, and sites closely linked to Genghis Khan. After a day of exploration and discovery, we will enjoy dinner and spend the night in a ger camp, providing a comfortable and authentic Mongolian experience. (B/L/D)

Day 7
Khuduu Aral & the “Secret History of the Mongols”
Today's journey takes us to Khuduu Aral, located 135 kilometers from Undurkhaan. This place holds immense historical significance, as it was where the "Secret History of the Mongols" was written in 1240. The "Secret History of the Mongols" provides invaluable insights into the lives, wars, and political developments of the Mongols during the time of Genghis Khan. Additionally, in this area, archaeologists have unearthed the ruins of the ancient city of Aurag. Following lunch, we'll explore Chinggis Khaan's monument and the remnants of the Aurag city. It is believed that Chinggis Khaan used to drink from the natural mineral springs near these ruins. You'll enjoy dinner and spend the night in a ger camp. XIII Century Park Guided Trip
Today, we will set off on a journey to the XIII century park, a unique and special complex that spans an area of 15 x 15 kilometers. Within this expansive space, you'll find six camps representing various tribes, all constructed in the style of the 13th century. This park offers a remarkable and immersive insight into Mongol history, allowing you to step back in time and experience the culture and way of life from that era. You will spend the night in a ger camp within this intriguing complex. The day's drive covers a distance of approximately 150 kilometers (95 miles). (B/L/D)

Today, we will embark on the journey back to Ulan Bator, covering approximately 96 kilometers (60 miles). Along the way, we will make a stop at the famous Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex, where you can explore the impressive monument and its surroundings.
